Years later I sold the domain to a company that helped folks quit smoking, one of my first big contracts. My first site was a site called Helping Hand that curated the best sites from around the web to help people with their computers and with navigating resources on the Internet. I started my work on the web more than two decades ago. I don’t like this approach as I can’t set the maximum height of the viewport… but it comes in handy if you ever need an entire page’s screenshot. If you’re a keyboard shortcut master, you can take a full-page screenshot with these shortcuts. Google Chrome Keyboard Shortcuts for Screenshots Be sure not to select full-size screenshots since that will take the entire page length and ignore your height limit. Google Chrome will take a perfect screenshot and drop it into your Downloads folder where you can attach and send it in an email.On the right side of the Device Toolbar, click the navigation button (3 vertical dots) and select Capture Screenshot.The page will now display with those dimensions. In this case, we want each of the client’s key clients across industries that have built beautiful Intranet sites to take a screenshot so we can display them all within a portfolio on their website. The tool was built so that developers could see how the site looked in different viewport sizes across different devices… but it also happens to be a perfect way to get a perfectly sized screenshot of a web page. Interestingly, despite its amazing flexibility, it’s not a very well-known feature. You may not realize this, but you can capture perfect screenshots with Google Chrome’s built-in set of robust developer tools. This can be difficult… unless you are using Google Chrome. We wanted to ensure each screenshot was consistently the same width and height throughout the site.
